  1. Uppsala Castle Museum

Wellcome to a guided tour of Uppsala Slottshistoriska and the Wasaborg.

Uppsala Castle Museum, is a museum that tells the story of Uppsala and the castle’s history and development and the Wasaborg tells us about the life at the castle in the 14th century.

Uppsala Castle houses infinite memories, items, and stories – traces of all the people who have ruled, served, laughed, cried, and lived their lives - or only a single night - within the castle walls.

These memories and fates are part of the history of the castle, the history of Uppsala, and the history of Sweden. Just like the castle itself, history is ever-changing. It is revised, reexamined, and rewritten when new perspectives challenge old truths.
